Wolf's Cave Nebula

Wolf's Cave Nebula (Barnard 175) in the constellation of Cepheus the king is the densest part of a sea of cold molecular clouds that inhabit this part of the sky. It is named for astronomer Max Wolf who described it as a "long starless lacuna". On its southern end (left) is the reflection nebula vdB 152.
